Quarter 1 summary report February 2025

Advocates for Recovery Colorado (AFRC)

$597,163

AFRC's GROC program includes peer recovery coaching, 3 new physical centers, weekly and in-person recovery meetings, transportation services for 50 folks, staff dedicated to mountainous rural communities, and more!

Gilpin County Sheriff's Office

$267,033.34

Funding was awarded for 27 laptops to be used in law enforcement vehicles as a co-responder program. Officers are specially trained to use the laptops on calls involving a substance use or a mental health crisis to immediately connect with clinical care providers.

Jefferson Center for Mental Health & Wheat Ridge Police Department

$150,287.50

Funding was awarded to hire one full-time co-responder case manager and one full time licensed co-responder clinician to increase the number of clients served by the Wheat Ridge co-responder program.

Clear Creek Health Assistance Team (CCHAT)

$199,260.00

Funds were awarded to hire one full time licensed clinical co-responder and one full time community paramedic. Outcomes include

  1. reducing social determinants of health in Clear Creek County,
  2. reduce the burden on law enforcement and EMS by responding to appropriate calls,
  3. provide high quality, consistent, and accessible services, and
  4. improve trust between the community, first responders, law enforcement, and government.
