The GROC transitioned into a standard 2-year contract in 2025 to better align with the 2-year strategic plan and settlement  disbursements schedule. The grantees below will receive funding 2025-2027 with potential for renewal.

Resilience 1220

  Prevention

Awarded $294,544.80

The "Cultivating Resilience" program focuses on youth substance use and mental health prevention in Jefferson, Gilpin, and Clear Creek Counties. The project duration is 24 months anticipated to start July 2025 to June 2027. The program aims to engage at least 300 unduplicated youth in therapy and support groups annually.

Gilpin County Parks & Recreation

Awarded $185,451.89 

The "Gilpin County Youth Enrichment and Prevention Initiative" aims to improve protective factors and reduce risk factors related to youth mental health and substance use. The project duration is 24 month, anticipated to start July 2025 to June 2027. The project seeks to create a formal sustainability plan for youth prevention services.

Harm Reduction

Awarded $1,525,688.96 

The project titled "Regional Harm Reduction Expansion & Sustainment" seeks to address gaps in harm reduction services across Clear Creek, Gilpin, and Jefferson Counties. The project duration is 24 months, anticipated to start July 2025 to June 2027. The project aims to braid funding from various sources to sustain harm reduction programming, especially as existing funding is expected to decrease.

The project titled "Real-Time Biometric Monitoring" aims to prevent overdose and withdrawal crises among individuals in custody. The project duration is 24 months, with an anticipated start of July 2025 to June 2027. The initiative will utilize biometric monitoring to ensure timely intervention for health crises.

Denver Recovery Group

Treatment

Awarded $181,124.00

The Denver Recovery Group aims to address the opioid crisis by enhancing access to treatment and recovery services in Clear Creek and Jefferson Counties. The project will serve vulnerable populations, including low-income individuals, racial and ethnic minorities, and those experiencing homelessness. The project duration is 24 months, anticipated to start July 2025 to June 2027.

Awarded $523,944.00 

The "SUD Specialist Co-Responders" project aims to enhance responses to individuals in crisis, particularly veterans, youth, and those with co-occurring mental health disorders. The project duration is 24 months from July 2025 to June 2027. Key milestones include hiring new co-responders and establishing data plans to track service outcomes.

Community Crisis and Health Assistance Team (CCHAT)

Awarded $1,095,462.00  

The CCHAT program, which focuses on delivering expert crisis intervention and resource navigation, is set to expand its capacity by hiring additional staff and enhancing its service offerings. "In order to maintain this essential component to Clear Creek County's public safety services, the program must be fully funded," stated the program's proposal, highlighting the need for comprehensive support in the community. They were initially funded in 2024-2025 and this renewal award is summer 2025-summer 2027. CCHAT aims to provide critical services to justice-involved individuals experiencing mental health crises, utilizing alternate response and co-response models.

Recovery Works

Recovery

Awarded $570,735.00

The "All Roads Recovery Program" aims to support individuals recovering from opioid and other substance use disorders by providing stable housing and integrated supportive services. The project duration is 24 months, anticipated to start July 2025 to June 2027. The program expects to serve 36 individuals annually through its housing and treatment initiatives. While based in Jefferson County, it does accept referrals from Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties.

Monarch Recovery

Awarded $1,224,000.00 

The "Monarch Launch Program for Women" was funded for a property acquisition to secure stable recovery housing for women. The program aims to ensure long-term financial sustainability by utilizing insurance billing to cover costs and has committed to a 15-year term of using the home for sober living programming and reporting outcomes to the GROC.

Advocates for Recovery Colorado (AFRC)

Awarded $631,163.00

AFRC, the first peer-led recovery community organization in Colorado, is also set to expand its reach across Region 10 through 2027. As a renewed grantee from 2024-2025, they will roll over unused funds to their 2025-2027 award, accumulating a 3 year budget of $631,163.00. The organization will continue to provide peer recovery coaching and support services at no cost to individuals and families affected by substance use. "AFRC's approach, led by and for people in recovery, is specifically designed to reduce stigma and create community and purpose in people's lives," the proposal emphasizes, underscoring the importance of peer support in recovery.
